Hi, I’m Rosa :)

I’m a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, chef, yoga teacher, and a student of psychoanalysis. I’ve spent my career cooking in and out of restaurants and homes, reflecting on these intimate dynamics, and writing about them. Over the last 5 years, I’ve designed a methodology around matching clients’ emotional needs with their material ones.

Pedagogy: My work is informed by the trauma body, somatic theory, Jungian psychology, astrology, and sustainability — with reverence for TCM and Ayurveda.

I have the radical priority of structuring your healing around pleasure and fun :)

This work feels generative for so many reasons, but the major one comes from lived experience: I myself have had almost every dietary restriction and know how lonely (and boring) that can be. I also love wine and cookies and feeling good — so my goal for this work is to build a life around sensory pleasure, longevity, and joy.

Writing

My Substack, Palate Cleanse, on food, culture, psychoanalysis, and the invisible is a great place to find my writing, and was a Featured Publication in 2023.

Other work in places like The Paris Review, Dirt, Digest, The Wine Zine, Care of Chan, and the Association for the Study of Food in Society.
